The Ukrainian blooded, San Francisco-based rapper’s latest single follows the bass-heavy lead of “Mona Lisa” but ups the energy considerably. Producer Cal-A deserves ample thanks for that, as his massive beat is a shot of musical adrenaline that bounces with so much hyphy swagger that you’ll want to hit the streets and cruise to this one.

Sash’s approach to the mic cooly complements the instrumental, bringing a fresh, deft mix of bravado and self-awareness. This is evident in bars like, “You don’t understand, you ain’t from the places I been/ Eastern European Union, tellin’ you what’s poppin’.” Clearly, dude’s seen some sh*t in his time on the planet, and he’s more than ready and willing to celebrate the success he’s seeing with his music.
